Research tells us that many visitors to Jersey are unaware that the island was occupied by the Germans during the Second World War. To encourage tourists to visit Jersey War Tunnels and discover the true story of the German Occupation we combined advertising and ambient media with a rolling public relations campaign.

For advertising style we juxtaposed striking historical monochrome photography taken during the Occupation, with contemporary ‘tourism-style’ scenic images of Jersey today. The result is a campaign that is both effective and educational.

Our PR team works closely with Channel Islands and UK media to maximise publicity for Jersey War Tunnels. In January 2008 a campaign managed by Image PR achieved blanket coverage across broadcast and print media, when a tank which had been in Jersey during the war paid a return visit to the island.
